Do the patch test
Our decorative and skincare cosmetic products are designed and made for children. That's why we develop them with the utmost care and have them undergo dermatological tests by independent third parties to meet the highest safety standards. Nevertheless, sensitive skin can react even to gentle formulations. We therefore recommend carrying out a patch test before using one of our products on large areas - especially if your child's allergies or skin sensitivities have not been ruled out yet.
This is how the patch test works:
Apply a small amount of our cosmetic product to an inconspicuous area of your child's skin and monitor the reaction for about 24 hours. If you notice any redness, itching or irritation, we advise against continuing to use the product and recommend that you may consult a doctor.
Please inform us of any anomalies!
If one of our products causes an allergic reaction in your child, we would like to hear about it. This is the only way we can support you and your child and continuously improve our products. Developed for young, sensitive skin
The beauty products in our range are cosmetic products for children, which are an excellent alternative to conventional cosmetic products for adults due to their harmless ingredients and low colour pigmentation. They are so subtle dosed that the first attempts at make-up work perfectly without applying too much or stressing the skin.
We only use mild formulations and ingredients that are suitable for special use on children's skin. Our dermatological tests take these special requirements into account by including highly sensitive skin types among the test subjects, the results of which can be transferred to children's sensitive skin.
Quality through the highest safety standards in product development
The health of our little customers is our greatest asset. For this reason, we strictly adhere to all relevant EU directives and legal regulations that apply to cosmetic products and their ingredients. This includes Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 on cosmetic products, which regulates the safety and labelling of cosmetic products. All our formulations are dermatologically tested and analysed for critical allergens. We subject all cosmetic products from our company to strict criteria in the formulation and carry out stability tests and safety assessments, which are carried out and prepared by independent third parties. We ensure that all our products are developed and tested using the best scientific practices.
All cosmetic products are tested gluten free
We deliberately avoid ingredients that contain the gluten protein in all our cosmetic products. We have this confirmed by independent third parties using test procedures. This means that children and young people with a gluten intolerance can also use our cosmetic products such as lip balm, lip gloss etc. without any worries.
Environmentally friendly alternatives to microplastics
Microplastics have negative consequences for the environment and for us humans, as remnants of these particles can enter the oceans through wastewater and thus back into our food cycle. That's why we focus on innovation and are constantly testing new, safe ingredients for our popular glitter products. Mica, a group of minerals known for its mica effect, is no longer an alternative for us due to ethical and human rights violations in the manufacturing process.
Our aim is to switch completely to ingredients of mineral origin in the future. We have already achieved this for many products.
Our products are not tested on animals!
With our cosmetic products, we want to awaken children's curiosity to discover themselves and convey the joy of trying things out creatively - without harming or disadvantaging anyone. That is why we do not carry out any animal testing on our cosmetic products or their ingredients. This has been firmly anchored in European cosmetics legislation since 2009 and we are committed to complying with it.
Why is there no CE labelling on cosmetic products?
The CE marking of a product confirms that it fulfils the applicable requirements of the European Community for the manufacturer. It is mandatory for toys, among other things, but not for cosmetics. These are tested according to other criteria.
However, some of our cosmetic products are characterised by their playful added value and can be CE-marked. However, the majority of our cosmetics range is used for skincare or make-up.
Why is there no age indication on the products?
Our cosmetic products are harmless to health and generally suitable for children aged 6 and over. However, the development of children and young people is as individual as their personality itself. For this reason, we have decided not to include an age indication on the products. Each child decides individually according to their own stage of development and preferences at what age they are interested in which product.
